British Tall Ship ‘Lord Nelson’ joins fleet to Australia

Inspired by the sailing program of the Dutch Tall Ships, the ‘Lord Nelson’ announced her plans to also make a round-the-world trip that includes her participation in the Tall Ships’ Races in Australia. The ‘Lord Nelson’ is operated by the Jubilee Sailing Trust and is designed and built to enable people of all physical abilities to sail side-by-side as equals. See www.jst.org.uk

During Sail Training International’s Annual Meeting in Toulon, France (November 18-19, 2011) the shipping companies of ‘Oosterschelde’ and ‘Europa’ have launched their plans. The reactions were promising. Two more ships will seriously investigate the possibilities to join.
